Following is a breakdown of Hardware components and related specifications to be determined, once the Implementation Schedule has been completed:
- Number of workstations: tablets, desktops, portables, wall mounts. What is already on site? What needs to be ordered?
- Servers (specified by contract): servers, backup servers, fat client or Citrix client. Will Citrix licenses be required? How many servers? GIS server?
- Number of printers & scanners
- Biometric devices: Fingerprint scanners.
Once Hardware requirements and specifications have been determined, a Hardware Order List is produced.
Following Hardware delivery:
- All workstations must be configured on the server.
- All workstations must be configured in ICC Tools
- All printers must be configured on the server
- Workstation-to-printer - must be specified by the client
- Back up servers installed and configured
