Following is a breakdown of Hardware components and related specifications to be determined, once the Implementation Schedule has been completed:

  • Number of workstations: tablets, desktops, portables, wall mounts. What is already on site? What needs to be ordered?
  • Servers (specified by contract): servers, backup servers, fat client or Citrix client. Will Citrix licenses be required? How many servers? GIS server?
  • Number of printers & scanners
  • Biometric devices: Fingerprint scanners.

Once Hardware requirements and specifications have been determined, a Hardware Order List is produced.

Following Hardware delivery:

  • All workstations must be configured on the server.
  • All workstations must be configured in ICC Tools
  • All printers must be configured on the server
  • Workstation-to-printer - must be specified by the client
  • Back up servers installed and configured
