Inside ICC Oncology CIS
A Clinical Focus
ICC Oncology CIS is a critical and ambulatory care system that brings together all relevant patient data at point of care so that practitioners can make informed diagnostic decisions, select treatment alternatives from the best practices, administer chemo drug with greater safety and track patient progress through a secure network.
No more delays due to misplaced charts, unavailable lab results or delayed vital signs. The practice of cancer care is more demanding than ever requiring that all requisite documentation and diagnostic data be available to every member of the care team.
The ICC Oncology CIS is designed to adapt to your specific workflow and documentation. This adaptation procedure, as well as our implementation methodology, will greatly reduce disruptions to your practice. ICC’s Oncology CIS is customized and can integrate with your own legacy system, thus limiting the impact on your IT infrastructure.
Information Sharing
Salient Features
Includes excellent ergonomics for greater usability, flexible workflow integration for an accelerated learning curve and a speedy incremental deployment that fosters a rapid adoption rate. It has full interoperability - useful information can be moved safely to and from where patients are being treated, across multiple platforms and locations. It provides rich clinical content that supports improved decisions process and genuine quality assurance.
Checklists And Protocols
ICC Oncology Tools has adopted the checklists and protocols from the College of American Pathologists as the standard format for reporting, thereby meeting the requirements of the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (CoC).
Completion of the pathology synoptic checklist automatically generates the "pathologic stage" of the tumor which can be accessed and viewed through the ICC Oncology Clinical Information System. Once it is in the system, it can be assessed, evaluated, edited or simply approved by one of the authorized physicians on the care team.
