The Complete Pathology Report

The ICC Tumor Registry has integrative features that provide for the automated inclusion of all information available in the highly advanced ICC Pathology Module. This module has been conceived and articulated to give pathologists an intelligent electronic tool that helps them in formulating and collating the diagnoses, reporting and staging of malignancies.

The pathologist can now resort to an intelligent software tool specifically designed for oncology specific analytics in which he can record, store and analyse all results that are relevant for the physician to validate or complete his diagnoses. Pathologists can thus record the full range of meaningful data that will result from the microscopic examination of tissue samples. The reports are generated in a structured format determined to support the attending physician’s diagnostic work. However all reporting formats have been designed in full compliance of the guidelines for synoptic reporting checklists required by the American Cancer Society Commission on Cancer (ACS CoC).

Meaningful Data

Our registry is integrated with other ICC automated clinical tools such as our ICC Oncology CIS. Therefore there is a seamless connectivity function which allows all information to flow freely throughout the network of ICC´s clinical applications. For example, all information concerning a specific treatment that is entered into a patient’s records would be immediately and automatically transferred into the ICC Tumor Registry without manual manipulation of the data, thereby populating those fields that have been designated by the care team and the registrar. Such features are essential to ensure that the registry is functional, up-to-date and its stored data relevant. Because the ICC Oncology CIS produces fully coded information, the subsequent extraction of data is automatic and requires no human input.

The ICC Tumor Registry patient files are current and timely and these records can instantaneously be accessed to provide registrars and physicians immediate feedback on the population of patients they treat.
